AFTBL Final Four

The Final Four of the Season 2 AFTBL is here: The aftermath of last Sunday games “Crucial Sunday” in Open Division the top seed was a sweep for the Pizza Company(7-0) as they beat the AFT Dragons (73-69). AFT Dragons finishes second spot as they have the highest quotient with 1.19 followed by no. 3 Mont Bolas 1.00 and RAMA 2 at no 4 with 0.83.

Formula used for quotient system based under FIBA Rules:

Total Points Made (against tied teams)/Total Points Allowed (against tied teams)

A triple-tie between the AFT Dragons, Mont Bolas, and RAMA 2. We first get their season meeting records

The Final Scores:

AFT Dragons vs. RAMA 2: = 79 - 49

AFT Dragons vs. Mont Bolas: = 62 - 68

MONT Bolas vs RAMA 2 = 68 – 74

Quotient System per team Computation: Triple Tie Formula under FIBA Rules:

AFT Dragons (79 + 62) / (49+68) = 141/118 = 1.19

RAMA 2 (74 + 49) / (68+79) = 123/147 = 0.83

MONT Bolas (68 + 68 ) / (62 + 74) = 136/136 = 1

Because the AFT Dragons have the topmost quotient, they won the tie-breaker.
